The Washington Chapter Symposium
will be held in the Hilton Alexandria Mark Center
on March 20, 2002.

This year, Corporate and Retired members can participate in one or all of the following ways.

  1. Set-up a booth in the Corporate Exhibit Area (See information below for details)
  2. Provide donations of your company logo pens, pencils or pads to be "stuffed" into the attendee packets.
  3. Sponsor the morning and or afternoon snack breaks. (Call for details)

The Washington, DC chapter of the American Society of Military Comptrollers is once again sponsoring a one-day spring symposium. This year’s theme, “DoD Financial Management Reformation”.  The symposium will be held in the Hilton Alexandria Mark Center on March 20, 2002.

We hope that you can join us with a corporate display this year. In order to facilitate your planning, the following tentative information is provided:

  • Approximate exhibit space is 10’x10’.
  • Registration will begin at 7:00 AM with a keynote speaker at 8 AM (Plan to allow yourself appropriate time to set-up a booth before registration)
  • Symposium completion is scheduled for 3:30 p.m.
  • There will be morning and afternoon breaks in addition to the luncheon break.

The set-up fee (for one table) will be $200 for Corporate members.  There is an extra fee for an electrical drop and/or a telephone line.  A maximum of two luncheon admissions may be purchased for $ 35 per person or you may register for the entire symposium at $150 for members or  $160 non-members (early bird discounts may apply).  The hotel will bill us for the set-up fees and we will collect this from you on the day of the symposium (check preferred - made out to ASMC).

If interested, in order to facilitate our planning and coordination with the hotel, please provide the following information as quickly as possible:

  • Number of tables and chairs required.
  • Specify whether or not you will need an electrical drop and/or a telephone line.
  • Number of luncheon only attendees.  (NOTE: Registration for entire symposium must be done through Registration).
  • Any other special requirements you might have.

Also, please let us know if you will offer a door prize so we can schedule the drawing.
