Membership is available to any individual actively employed by military comptrollership (active duty or civilian). If you do not meet these qualification, we encourage you to file for associate membership. This is especially important for those who are interested in the field. Employees of private sector companies may join under the corporate membership program.
Membership applications are also available by calling ASMC National Headquarters at (800) 462-5637 or by contacting the Washington Chapter Membership Chairperson: firstname.lastname@example.org. There are several different types of memberships. Read more below and contact us with any questions.
Active Members are persons who are or have been employed as professionals in the military comptrollership field and who, to remain in good standing, have paid the appropriate dues and fees. The current fee, effective 1 January 2017, is $40 for one year or $114 for three years.
ASMC Lifetime members are recognized in the Armed Forces Comptroller once a year for their long-time support of the society. There are two categories of Lifetime membership with ASMC:

Non-dues paying lifetime members also include members who are past National Presidents and who, to remain in good standing, have paid the appropriate consecutive dues and fees.
Lifetime Member (Dues paying – 20 years)
Any individual member achieving 20 (twenty) consecutive years of membership in ASMC qualifies for Lifetime (Dues paying) membership.
Associate Members are persons who, though not qualified for Active or Life Membership, demonstrate an interest in the military comptrollership field and who, to remain in good standing, have paid the appropriate dues and fees. Associate membership is $40 annually.
Honorary memberships may be conferred upon persons making significant contributions to military comptrollership who are not eligible for, or who would not otherwise be expected to join, one of the other classes of membership. Honorary membership must be approved by the National Executive Committee, and has
