If you need assistance or find you need to cancel your registration up to five days before the luncheon, you may contact the program administrator and receive a refund on your credit card.  Cancellations within five days of the luncheon will get credit for the next luncheon.

Example:  Luncheon scheduled for a Wednesday,

  • Cancellations up to the previous Thursday get full refund.

  • Cancellations after Thursday will get credit for the next luncheon.


All luncheon attendees will be entered in a raffle to win 2 certificates good for a future free luncheon admission.  One certificate is for the winner's own use and the other is for the winner to give to a potential new member.

Ms. Cynthia Beck
Defense Agencies Initiative Program Manager (DAI PM)

Ms. Cynthia Beck currently serves as the program manager for the Defense Agencies Initiative in the Defense Logistics Agency, joining the program in April 2011.   Ms. Beck is an experienced financial and acquisition manager responsible for successful implementation of Department of Defense (DoD) systems and initiatives in support of the Department's business transformation goals. 

Ms. Beck joined DoD in1988 and her experience spans from an operational accountant for field-level finance and accounting operations to program management leading business process reengineering and systems implementation of large financial and mission-critical systems.  She has over fifteen years experience in program management and acquisition programs, including serving as the DoD liaison for the implementation of Oracle Financials world-wide at the NATO military headquarters’ sites.  She also served as program manager for Defense Industrial Financial Management System (DIFMS) in support of Defense Working Capital Fund (DWCF) sites for Navy, Air Force and Marine Corps.

Ms. Beck holds a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Sociology from Indiana University, with a subsequent concentration in Business and Accounting.  She also received her Masters in Public Administration from Indiana University.  She is certified as a Level III Program Manager from the Defense Acquisition University.  Her professional affiliations include membership in ASMC and the Defense Acquisition Corps.
