If you need assistance or find you need to cancel your registration up to five days before the luncheon, you may contact the program administrator and receive a refund on your credit card.  Cancellations within two days of the luncheon forfeit any payment, as the chapter incurs the cost of the luncheon.

Example:  Luncheon scheduled for a Wednesday,

  • Cancellations up to the previous Thursday get full refund.

  • Cancellations Friday, Saturday or Sunday get credit for future luncheon.

  • Cancellations on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday are not eligible for refund or credit.

All luncheon attendees will be entered in a raffle to win 2 certificates good for a future free luncheon admission.  One certificate is for the winner's own use and the other is for the winner to give to a potential new member.

Mr. Dennis M. Savage
Joint Staff Comptroller

 Mr. Dennis M. Savage is a Senior Executive with over 40 years of professional experience and is responsible for overall management of Joint Staff resources.  He joined the Office of the Joint Staff Comptroller in April 2004.  Before joining the Joint Staff, Mr. Savage briefly served with the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency implementing Earned Value Management.  Prior to that, he was a management consultant for almost nine years with Booz Allen Hamilton where he specialized in the management sciences, organizational transformation, and financial and accounting activities. 

Mr. Savage is a retired US Army Colonel who held a number of combat arms, and command and staff assignments, within United States and overseas.  He served two Joint tours while on active duty, with the Joint Staff, J-8, and as Comptroller for US Forces Korea.  He is a Vietnam veteran. 

Mr. Savage holds a Master’s degree in Comptrollership from the University of Missouri, a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Columbus State University, and is a graduate of the US Army War College.  He holds a number of certifications:  Defense Financial Manager with Acquisition Specialty, Project Management Professional, and Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act Program Manager. 

Mr. Savage is married to the former Frances Collene Lawrence, and has two sons, Joseph and Peter, and four grandchildren:  Andrew, Gabriel, Jacob, and Lucy.
